Flipsyde - Spun

The way the world is spinning this week, it seems only a mere token of the Tibetan population will remain by the time you have grandchildren. What is sickening is the kind of collective brutality the leaders of the so called civilized world have displayed in every city that the troubled torch has traveled. What with the air tight security suffocating the flaming torch, and athletes rubbing shoulders with the police in a comical three foot race, the Olympics has been reduced to a political parody, and it hasn’t even begun yet.

The lengths of ass licking that our government can go to will be displayed on air on the 17Th of this month, till then we can repeatedly witness the farce in France, U.S and London, in spite of Sarkozy, Bush and Brown claiming to “consider boycotting the Opening Ceremony".Clumsy pacifiers.

Scarlett Keeling was raped and murdered, but her mother apparently is to blame. A girl in Noida was raped yesterday, but is publicly beaten for being immoral. With crimes against women on an all time high, the only solution offered by authorities is to keep us locked in after dark. Reminds me of a nursery rhyme with a twist:

“Wee Willy Winkie comes to town,

Upstairs and downstairs in his night gown

Peeping through the windows, knocking at the doors

Are the women all in bed it’s past eight 0 ‘clock!!!”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign gets into murkier debts and controversies so she gets the gay celeb singer to raise money for her ‘cause’. Which seems only fair considering the’ Black Eyed Peas” back Barrack. Well that’s still tame enough compared to the Bollywood backing our politicians command.

Speaking of which I greatly admire the tough stand Mr. Bachchan’s taken, the Thackkery’s are seriously making it a pain for Non Maharashtrians to live in Maharashtra day by day. They have Hitler idols that they secretly worship in their ‘wadas’ I'm sure. A religious ritual that is not secret though is one of throwing babies off a rooftop on bed sheets held below, in Karnataka. Makes them Healthy, wealthy and wise!Uggh!

The poor down trodden OBC’S/SC’s may not be able to afford rice and vegetables at today’s soaring prices, but what they can afford is a decent education at some of the best educational institutes in India. With reservation seats totaling to 49.5%, I'm going to drop out next year and never have kids. We are the privileged people you see, banned from rights, let alone benefits. Even from electricity it seems, as I write this in candlelight.

Stealing the spotlight away from the ridiculous world on all channels are two things, the release of U, ME & HUM, and KRAZZY 4.

In these times of Global warming-turning to cooling-back to sweltering again-, The only sensible thing for privileged people like me who live without AC’s is to catch both the flicks this weekend and chill out while the world spins away.

Its weeks like this when what I once read makes sense: “WORLD STOP, I WANT TO GET OFF.”

This is a very good way of putting together things that bothers each of us. I particularly liked the voice.
